Neundorfer recently read the results of a study conducted by Platts and Capgemini of the issues that plague utility executives. The survey of 100 executives within the electric and natural gas industries in the U.S. and Canada highlighted the following as the five most critical issues confronting the energy industry:

• Addressing environmental concerns such as emissions, carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases
• Coping with an aging workforce and workforce management issues
• Building new, while maintaining or replacing aging and overburdened infrastructure
• Addressing industry regulations

Much to our surprise, we “Googled” the Neundorfer name recently and, lo and behold, the search results turned up some of our competitors as “sponsored links” (at the top of the list - ahead of Neundorfer - and/or on the right hand side).  That’s right - these competitors are actually paying to buy the Neundorfer name as a Google AdWord to drive traffic to their own sites. Go figure. Guess these guys need the Neundorfer reputation for the best APC products and services to sell their own stuff. We think it’s confusing for customers who type in Neundorfer to get somebody else’s web site. We also wondered if it’s legal…
